Sept. 27, 2022
Today I did lots of things, though I still felt that I lack of time control. In the morning, I have a long call with my family, telling them my life these days.
Then I took a shower and went to the TA’s office hour. She is a friendly and well-knowledgeable person, help me solve my problem and also share some tips about finding jobs with me.
In the dining hall, I met one of my classmates. We ate lunch together, and I must say that turkey cream soup is really my cup of tea. When I arrived at home, it’s near three o’clock, I fell into my bed and when I woke up, it’s five pm. I shouldn’t stay over again!
In the evening, a class. The professor is nice, but the classroom is so smelly and I felt bad. I bought a big slice of pizza from my newly favorite shop for next day’s meal. Gosh, college life hahaha.
Then when I got home, I learnt an online courses to assist me chasing the course’s pace. It also gave me a certificate to show on LinkedIn, not bad!
Time to sleep, thanks for your guys’ help. Have a good night. 💤
092601-a full/busy day
Today I did lots of things, though I still felt that I lack of time controled control over my time.
I had a lack of + noun
but I don't hear "time control" as a phrase, so the version in the correction is the best one, I think
In the morning, I haved a long call with my family, telling them about my life these days.
tell someone about smth
Then I took a shower and went to the TA’s office hour.
She is a friendly and well-knowledgeable person, who helped me solve my problem and alsos well as shared some tips about finding jobs with me.
when you say "share," it is assumed that she shared with you, so you don't really need to say "with me"
In the dining hall, I met one of my classmates.
We ate lunch together, and I must say that turkey cream soup iwas really my cup of tea.
"my cup of tea" is not an expression I hear often. I would recommend just using an adjective like pleasant, nice, delicious, etc...
"was" because you're talking about the past
When I arrived at home, it’ was nearly three o’clock,. I fell into my bed and when I woke up, it’s five pm was 5 PM.
if you use "PM," the number is usually written in numerals instead of words
past tense again
In the evening, I had a class.
The professor is nice, but the classroom is so smelly and I felt badsick.
"I feel bad" connotes that you feel guilty that the classroom smelt bad, as if you caused the smell!
I bought a big slice of pizza from my newly favorite shop for the next day’s meal.
Gosh, college life hahaha.
Then when I got home, I learntdid an online courses to assist me chasingin keeping up with the course’s pace.
you don't really "learn a course," you are learning what the course teaches you
I'm not sure what "chasing the course's pace" means
It also gave me a certificate to show on LinkedIn, not bad!
Time to sleep, thanks for your guys’ help.
I'm hesitant to click that this is right because "your guys" is informal so I'm not sure how grammar rules applies to it. But it makes sense and suits the informal tone of your journal, so I won't correct it.
Have a good night.

Today I did a lots of things, though I still felt that I lack of timed the control over time.
In the morning, I haved a long call with my family, telling them about my life these days.
Then I took a shower and went to the TA’s office hour.
She is a friendly and well-very knowledgeable person, she helped me solve my problem, and also shared some tips with me about finding jobs with me.
In the dining hall, I met one of my classmates.
We ate lunch together, and I must say that turkey cream soup is really my cup of teaof my liking.
"cup of tea" means that you excel in something. Until you made the turkey cream soup yourself and found it really easy, I don't think this phrase makes sense over here.
When I arrived at home, it’ was nearly three o’clock, I fell inton my bed and when I woke up, it’ was five pm.
I shouldn’t stay over again!
In the evening, a class.
Incomplete sentence
