Today I just spent the whole day on my computer to catch my homework due. Yet, I still waste lots of time worrying about what would happen if I could not get the perfect grades, so I trimmed it again and again. Next time I would ask others' advice when I was stuck in a bottleneck.
Where is a good place to learn English? I watched some videos about how to behave in a bar. But I lack the courage to go to a bar alone. Although I have been in the USA for over a month, I was surrounded by my classmates and friends who only talk with me naturally in Mandarin. I love Mandarin, it's a part of my spirit, but it's a comfort zone, I mean that studying in a different country gives me more chances to discover diversity, why just clone the same situation?
I have to deal with issues in English. I think I should create some situations to push myself to practice. I decided to grab every chance to speak with friendly people from now on.

Great idea. You could always try finding a language partner at your school that wants to learn Mandarin and would practice English with you :) Otherwise there might be some interesting clubs or societies at your school too!

Make sure to set off introductory phrases with commas.
Yet, I still wasted lots of time worrying about what would happen if I could not get the perfect grades, so I trimmed itcutting down my work again and again.
I'm a bit confused about the tenses in the original sentence. If my corrected version isn't what you meant, please let me know in the comments. :P
Next time I wouldill ask others' advice when I was stuck in a bottleneck.
If this a thought you are currently having, will is correct. If this is a thought you had earlier when you were doing your homework, you could say something like "I thought next time, I would ask ..."

This kind of sentence structure works fine in Mandarin, but English is a lot more restrictive when it comes to stringing clauses together. A lot of times, you will find that you need to split your sentences and add extra bits to clear up what you're talking about.

I personally think "take any chance" or "grab any chance" might be slightly more common. This is also fine, though, and others may disagree, so I left it as is.
