My sister came back at home today from Algiers.

My sister came back at home today from Algiers. My sister came back home today from Algiers.

My sister came back at home today from Algiers. My sister came back home today from Algiers.

You don't need a preposition with 'home' I am home = I am at my house. I am going home = I am going to my house etc. You can use 'at home' for saying where a person is. 'he is at home.' 'I am at home' but also okay to use 'he is home' 'I am home' for this.

My sister came back at home today from Algiers. My sister came back home today from Algiers.

My sister came back at home today from Algiers. My sister came back home today from Algiers.

"To come home" is a set phrase.

she stayed there just one day.

sShe (only) stayed there for just one day. She (only) stayed there for just one day.

sShe stayed there for just one day. She stayed there for just one day.

This sounds more natural to me.
