The podcast announcer had just received a letter from one of her listeners. He has been enraged for months by a problem, the listener said. He had a story involving the whole city and its pay taxpayers who had been held hostage for one man's benefit. He asked the announcer if they'd like to talk with him. The announcer contact the man and found out that they lived in the same neighborhood. So she drove out to meet up with him. His neighborhood looked like your suburb - two-storey houses, each with two-car garage, a quiet street. The men grew up on this neighborhood without sideways because there were not enough cars. When they were walking on the street, they were stopped by the thing that had been vexing him for months.
