When it's hard to sleep at night, I get out of my bed and read a book using a desk light. While I'm reading a book, I'm getting sleepy then go to bed again. Difficult or boring books are better, because I'll be into reading a book and forget to sleep if the book is interesting. However, I fall asleep easily so I hardly use this strategy.
