몇 층?
저는 2층 (이 층) 살아요. 하지만 프랑스어로 1층 살아요! 왜냐하면 바닥은 다르게 계산해요. 거리의 바닥은 프랑스에 "rez-de-chaussée"를 이고 미국에, 한국에도 일본에 1층예요. 저는 이것을 배웠을 때 놀라웠어요.

I live on the 2nd floor. But in French I live on the 1st floor! That's because floors are counted differently. The street level is "rez-de-chaussée" in France and and 1st floor in the US, Korea or Japan. When I learnt this I was surprised.

Je vis au 2ème étage. Mais en francais je vis au 1èr étage ! C'est parce que les étages sont comptés différemment. L'étage au niveau de la rue est le «rez-de-chaussée» en France, et le 1er étage aux USA, en Corée ou au Japon. J'ai été surprise d'apprendre ça.

하지만 프랑스어로는 1층 살아에 사는 게 돼요!

왜냐하면 바닥은층이 다르게 계산해되기 때문이에요.
거리의 바닥와 같은 층은 프랑스에서는 "rez-de-chaussée"를 이고지만 미국에, 한국에도, 일본에서는 1층예이에요.
저는 이것을처음 이걸 배웠을 때 놀라웠랐어요.
이것을 is exactly the same as 이걸 but 이걸 sounds more natural in this case. 이것을 might be too stilted here.
