美術系畢業後有感（五）
以前，我對過去的選擇感到有點後悔，但事後諸葛亮，如果我沒有這些經驗，根本不會知道靠非傳統途徑也一樣可以學會繪畫。而且自學繪畫是需要恆心，當時的我已經習慣了學校所提供的規律，很有可能沒有勇氣做出這樣的決定。過去的事情已經發生了，再回首也不能改變事實，雖然我比理想中的計畫要花更多時間才能達到目標，但我知道我只要繼續努力練習和創作，一定能實現我的夢想。

事後諸葛/事後孔明 is a bit negative implying someone only knows to give advice or judge after something bad has already happened. When it comes to "in hindsight", You can say 經一事長一智/痛定思痛.( 痛定思痛 might be too strongt though. It depends on how regretful or painful you are that you don't want to make the same mistake again.)
But if you want to say it is of no use to be a Monday-mourning quarter back, then you can say:
但事後諸葛/事後孔明亦無補於事。
I think you are talking about self-learning, so perhaps you can say：
根本不會知道自學繪畫亦可成才/成功。
Just my two pennies' worth though.
過去的事情已經發生了，再回首也不能改變事實，。雖然我比理想中的計畫要花更多時間才能達到目標，但我知道我只要繼續努力練習和創作，一定能實現我的夢想。
You can say
往事已矣，再回首也不能改變事實。
往事已矣 means what's past is past.
You can say
雖然比想像中要花更多時間才能達到目標/
雖然比預計要花的時間更多才能達到目標

不經一事，不長一智 is an alternative. Personally, I think it sounds slightly better in the context.

I'm not sure what you meant by 學校所提供的規律. I assume you meant the school didn't offer lessons which could meet all students' needs, and we normally call it 制式教育 in Chinese.
過去的事情已經發生了，再回首也不能改變事實，雖然我比理想中的計畫原先計劃/預期要花更多時間才能達到目標，但我知道我只要繼續努力練習和創作，一定能實現我的夢想。

Thank you for the suggestions! They are very helpful. I've noticed that some of my phrasing is a bit awkward at times, definitely need to keep on reading + writing.
