童年的记忆

My teacher wants me to record myself speaking and gave me a list of prompts. My second one is to talk about a childhood memory. This is what I intend to say, please correct me! Thank you!

我今天要谈论的童年记忆是我第一次吃披萨。 我直到五岁才吃披萨！ 我不知道为什么，但是我以为即使我从未吃过披萨，披萨也很不好吃。 我记得我说过难闻的气味。 有一天，我忘记了我在家里的饭盒。 我不得不吃我学校做的午餐。 那天他们做了比萨。 我很害怕，因为我不喜欢披萨，但我不想挨饿！ 所以我咬了一口，以为我会讨厌它，但是我喜欢它！ 我记得那之后我感到多么高兴。 我都吃了 放学后，我回家告诉我妈妈。 她很高兴！ 那天晚上我们也吃了比萨作为晚餐。

The childhood memory I will talk about today is the first time I ate pizza. I didn't eat pizza until I was five years old! I don't know why but I thought that pizza was bad tasting even though I had never had pizza. I remember I said it smelled bad. One day I had forgotten my lunchbox at home. I had to eat the lunch my school made. That day they made pizza. I was so scared because I didn't like pizza, but I didn't want to starve! So I took a bite and thought I would hate it, but I loved it! I remember how happy I felt after that. I ate all of it. After school I went home and told my mom about it. She was very happy! We had pizza for dinner that night too.
