Today I went to the fishing spot in Rinko Park after my English class.
When I arrived at the park, there were some people walking their dogs and some fishermen. I went to find a bench and got ready to fish.
My tackle was a 3-meter fishing rod, a 2000 reel with a 20-lb. line and an electric float, and I fished the float with blue isotope as bait.
We fished for three hours, but there was no bite at all. I thought it was no good today, so I went home immediately.
When I got home, my mother came to ask me about my catch. I was embarrassed to tell her I hadn't caught anything, so I lied to her and said I had caught a fish, but I had blown it.
I hope to catch a big fish next week and send a picture of my catch to my mother!

Today I went to the fishing spot in Rinko Park after my English class.

When I arrived at the park, there were some people walking their dogs and some fishermen.

I went to find a bench and got ready to fish.

My tackle was a 3- meter fishing rod, a 2000 reel with a 20- lb.

For measurements, we generally don't hyphenate: https://www.btb.termiumplus.gc.ca/tpv2guides/guides/wrtps/index-eng.html?lang=eng&lettr=indx_catlog_h&page=9yi3DafqFcUM.html

line and an electric float, and I fished the float with blue isotope as bait.

We fished for three hours, but there was no bite at all.

I thought it was no good today, so I went home immediately.

When I got home, my mother came to ask me about my catch.

I was embarrassed to tell her (that) I hadn't caught anything, so I lied to her and said I had (almost) caught a fish, but I had blown it.

"Blown it" is grammatical, but it doesn't sound right here to me. "Caught a fish" is the action associated with "blown it," and that doesn't sound coherent because the action was already accomplished. This can be fixed by adding "almost" (though the meaning is a little different) or writing: "I was almost able to bring a fish hope, but I had blown it."

I hope to catch a big fish next week and send a picture of my catch to my mother!

I don't know much about fishing, so I'm not familiar with the terminology, but for the most part, this looked great!
