我的工作

我六年多前來韓國工作。來韓國的時候當公立學校英文老師。除了兩名小孩子，學生們都是韓國人。他們從三年級時就學英文。我五年在統一學校一直工作。但是我想去更好學校工作，所以讀研究生院，找別的工作。

我現在在國際學校教道德和健康。學生們大部分是韓國人，但外國人也不少。最小的學生是一年級，最大的是六年級。我教他們時間管理，品格教育，情緒調節，等。我覺得在國際學校工作比在公立學校工作難。原因是，我沒有跟我在一起教課的老師。在公立學校我和別的老師一起寫教案，準備習題集。國際學校更忙，但感覺更有意義。

I came to Korea to work more than six years ago. When I first came to Korea, I taught English at a public school. Except for two children, all of the students were Korean. They learned English starting in grade 3. I worked at the same school for five year. But, I wanted to do something better, so I went to graduate school and found a different job.

Now I work at an international school teaching ethics and health. Most of the students are Korean, but there are a lot of foreign students too. My youngest students are grade 1, and the oldest are grade 6. I teach them things like time management, character education, and emotional regulation. I think that working at an international school is harder than working at a public school. That's because I don't have a teacher that does lessons with me. At the public school, I wrote lessons and prepared worksheets with another teacher. International school is busier, but I think it's more worthwhile.
