It's a tricky difference between English and Chinese,
Commonly, to express a negative opinion,
In English, you say I don't think something is
In Chinese, we say 我觉得、认为（I think something is not）
There're exceptions of course, if you want to emphasize the negativity, you say 我不觉得、认为
A: 你能力太差了。(You're incompetent)
B: 我不觉得。(I don't think so)

我还听不会听得懂中文电影或致电视。

听/看/想/吃/摸/闻+不 = be unable to
不+听/看/想/吃/摸/闻 = don't

我知道的词语不够多。

I started learning Chinese 12 years ago. But I stopped several times. The first time I lost interest, learning a language is hard and takes a lot of time. The second time was because I had my sons. When you have babies you don't have time to study. One and a half years ago my sons were not too young, so I started learning again. I forgot most of the words because I hadn't studied for a long time, but I studied hard recently so now I am better than before.

But I don't think my Chinese is good yet. I still can't understand Chinese movies or TV. When my parents-in-law talk, I usually don't understand. I don't know enough words.

Maybe one day I will learn enough. But not today, not that day.

因为很久没有学习我忘记了大部分的词语，但是最近我有认真学了地学，所以现在我的中文比以前好些了。

“也”字呼应你上边提到的内容。
