我对广东话的看法
在上篇文章里，我写到我看了三部王家卫的电影。看它们可能是我第一次接触到广东话。这些电影里大部分对话是用广东话的，而角色的内心独白使用汉语。我并没有冒犯的意思，但对我而言，广东话比汉语更加好听。比如，歌手王菲的几首歌曲有汉语版和广东话版。我觉得广东话版通常比汉语版更悦耳。不过我目前没有打算学习广东话。暂时汉语已经足够了。此外，我觉得汉语的四个声调已经很难了。广东话有更多声调，所以无法想象掌握这种语言。如果有一天我精通了汉语，可能会考虑学习它。
What I think about Cantonese
In my previous entry, I wrote about having watched three of Wong Kar-wai's films. Watching them might have been my first exposure to Cantonese. Most of the dialogue in these films is in Cantonese, while the characters' internal monologues are in Mandarin. I mean no offense, but to me, Cantonese sounds better than Mandarin. For example, several songs by the singer Faye Wong have both Mandarin and Cantonese versions. I find the Cantonese versions usually sound more pleasant. However, I don't plan to learn Cantonese at the moment. For now, Mandarin is already enough. Besides, I find the four tones of Mandarin already difficult. Cantonese has even more tones, and I can't imagine mastering such a language. If one day I become fluent in Mandarin, I might consider learning it.

你对音律的感觉是有道理的。因为广东话根源于古代中原雅言，当时的人们更注重音调韵律。
