我不喜欢叫我的宠物“它”
美国人用英语叫他们的宠物“他”还是“她” ("he" or "her")。我知道中国人经常叫他们的宠物“它“,我了解“它”和"it"一样。我觉得“她”和“他”比“它”热情。我有一只公狗,还有一只公乌龟,我用英语都叫“他”。但是,美国人和中国人都没叫婴儿“它”!
这是一个小不一样的意思。
I don't like calling my pets "it".
Americans call their pets "he" or "her" in English. I believe Chinese people often call their pets "它", which I understand is the same as "it". I think "he" or "her" is warmer than "it". I have one male dog and one male tortoise, and I call both of them "him" in English. However, both Americans and Chinese people do not call babies it!
This is one small, interesting difference between the two languages.
