There was a girl who was already late. So, she was walking very fast. While walking, she saw a dog about to cross the road. When the dog was crossing the road, a car hit the dog. Before the hit, the girl was not walking very fast, so the dog did not hit her. Although the dog got up immediately after being hit, the girl knew that the hit would affect the dog. She did not know whether it was a big or small impact.

Without the 前面的 it sounds like the girl could be going in a different direction comparing to the dog. I was a bit confused, but it could be just me.
Even in English this doesn’t make much sense. Why would the dog be hitting her? Wouldn’t it be the car? Or do we mean like, car hit dog, dog goes flying, dog hit her?
Your original sentence means “although the dog has been hit, it got up immediately.”Grammatically correct but means something different.
Just 影响 sounds a bit too vague. The grammar was ok though, besides the 打击.
