without 吗, this sentence may sound impolite(depends on the situation), so it's better to append 吗 here.

王云：住对，我住在十号楼.

It sounds unnatural if you use 住 here.

In spoken Chinses, we often say something like 对，是，嗯 when making an affirmative answer. (depends on the question)

But there are also cases where you can use 住 to make the affirmative answer, like :
你到底要不要住这里？ 住。

您你明天去看望我要不要过来玩？

看望 is often used in phrasing like 看望病人（patient）

您你明天去看望我来我这玩吗？

同学之间不是必须要用尊称您。去是到对方那儿。看望表示一种敬重，说对方来看望自己有点不不合适。
