可怜的猫!

我房东养了一只胖胖的雄性的橘猫。它总是露出特殊的表情，一直看起来很不高兴，不过叫声好可爱。总的来说，我喜欢猫，但怀疑这只猫身上有会跳到我身上猫蚤，所以从来没有逗过它。

这只橘猫有一个陋习：为了寻找食物，它常常把垃圾桶撞倒了，弄得一团糟，很麻烦房东和房客。不过所有的房客们都爱它。其中有一个人很在意它。她经常买了很贵的湿猫粮，每天帮房东给它喂。有一天，她建议把猫带去兽医做绝育。房东也赞同了。不幸的是，绝育手术做得很糟糕。手术后的伤口感染了，让它不能排尿。最后死去了。我一个月左右没有看到它，今天碰到在洗摩托车的房东，他告诉了我一切。我感到非常难过，能想象房东的女儿当时也一定哭得死去活来。

房东现在有了一只新的小猫，他女儿给它取名叫麻糬。麻糬是一只三花猫，有棕色、黑色和白色的毛，所以肯定是母猫。我希望大家会好好照顾它，不会再犯同样的错误！

Poor Cat!

My landlord has a chubby male orange cat. He always has a unique expression and looks upset all the time, but his meow is really cute. Generally speaking, I like cats, but I suspect this one has fleas that would jump on me, so I’ve never played with him.

This orange cat has a bad habit of knocking over the trash cans in search of food, making a mess and causing trouble for the landlord and tenants. However, all the tenants love him. One person, in particular, cares about him a lot. She often buys expensive wet cat food and helps the landlord feed him every day. One day, she suggested taking the cat to the vet for neutering. The landlord agreed. Unfortunately, the surgery was done poorly, and the incision got infected, preventing him from urinating. In the end, he died. I hadn’t seen him for about a month, and today I ran into my landlord while he was washing his motorcycle, and he told me everything. I felt really sad and could imagine how the landlord's daughter must have cried her eyes out then too.

Now the landlord has a new kitten, and his daughter named her Mochi. Mochi is a calico cat with brown, black, and white fur, so she must be female. I hope everyone will take good care of her and not make the same mistake again!
