冬がくれた予感

今朝からいきなり寒くなりました。昨日までは20度を上回る気温のせいで半袖の服の姿で出かけないと熱いと思ってしまうぐらいでしたが、今日気温が零下に近づいていて長袖だけでなく厚めなジャケットを追加して着て出かけました。気候変化の影響のせいか最近の数年は急激な変化が多くなったような気がします。この間ネトフリで見たDon't Look Upという映画を思い出しました。気候変化に対したぬるい対応を指摘するメッセージで間違えば間違えるほどいい内容の映画でした。

The weather got cold very quick this morning. It was around 20 degrees just until yesterday where I was comfortable outside in short sleeves then all of a sudden the temperature dropped to near zero and I had to switch to long sleeves plus a thick jacket overnight. I'm not sure if it's the climate change but I feel that we are experiencing more and more of these weather conditions that are harsh and unexpected. It reminds me of this movie I saw on Netflix a while back called Don't Look Up that was about how we are not doing anything about anything and basically just waiting to die. It was filled with many scenarios we can only hope that we don't see happen in reality.
