In my memory season 1 was just ok.
But season 2 was surprisingly good.
For season 1 I think most people watch is because the beautiful female characters.
The story line was straight forward.
So, I never expect season 2 will be such high level.
For most audiences means if want to watch beautiful females.
Yes, many.
But if want to watch a good quality of drama.
I can guarantee one this will much better than most typical Japanese drama.
Or, I should say this time the director really wants escape typical Japanese drama style.
Also, in a Japanese drama use many old western songs as BGM that was nice too.

I think female sounds best as an adjective, and sounds a bit dehumanizing if used as a noun! That's just my preference, many young people use woman and female interchangeably).

Great entry! I know that this drama is on Netflix but I haven't watched it... I do get bored of the typical Japanese dramas, so maybe I will try this one if Season 2 is as good as you say it is.
