伯父さんたち

この間、二人の伯父さんがカナダからマニラに来ました。一人は7年ぶりの帰り、もう一人は15年ぶりの帰りです。伯父さんたちがフィリピンにいる間、私たち家族は面倒を見ます。明日の夜、伯父さんたちが昔から好きだった中華料理のレストランに連れていきます。15年ぶりのああいう懐かしい料理を食べると、どんな感じになるだろう。私だったら絶対涙が出ると思います。でも伯父さんたちの性格はストイックなので、すました顔で料理を楽しむと思います。（笑）

Recently, two of my uncles came to Manila from Canada. One of them is visiting after 7 years, and the other after 15 years. While they're here, me and my family will be taking care of them. Tomorrow night, we'll be going to a Chinese restaurant that they've always liked. To eat a nostalgic meal like that after 15 years, I wonder how that feels like. If it were me, I would definitely tear up. But my uncles both have stoic personalities, so they'll probably just enjoy the food with straight faces. (lol)
