Today as usual I go to school but today is a bit troublesome. My physics teacher assign me to buy ice cream, at first I thought that it is an easy task, but in reality the result is not good. I with my friend called Alvaro feel that 3 ice creams is enough, but at the same time my friends feel the opposite. In their opinion, six ice creams is enough. I calculated wrongly, I hope that in the future I could let all people to feel fulfilled.

Normally in this context, 让我去,要我去,叫我去, etc, all works. If you want something formal, then 指定 or 选择 would also work.
对面 means opposite side (facing each other). It’s not used metaphorically for opposite opinions. 相反 is opposite (front vs back side). This one is actually used metaphorically, for conflicting opinions.
我算错了 is more common for this.
