大家好！我有一个问题： ”还“ 和 ”也“ 有什么不同？有时候我觉得 ”还“ 和 ”也“ 是一样的。但我不确定。
比如：
》你认识王老师吗？
〉认识。
》你也认识张老师吗？【还是】还认识张老师吗？
〉我也认识她【还是】还认识她。

What's the difference between 还 and 也。Sometimes I think they're the same, but I'm not sure.

Good question.
还 means "still" in this situation.
If you meet some one completely new, the question should be 你认识王老师吗？
But if you want to check if they know each other(maybe the work in the same school or something)你也认识张老师吗？would be right, but 你认识王老师吗？is also nature.
还记得张老师吗? Means they had already known each other before, but maybe a year pass, so need to check if the person "still" remember(记得) the teacher.

Base on your example, you use 认识, not 记得，so it can only be
你也认识张老师吗？or 你认识张老师吗？

“还”这个字，有两个音。读huán的时候，跟“也”一点关系都无。读hái的时候，有以下几个意思：

1 依然，仍然：这本书～没有看完。≠也
2 更加：今天比昨天～冷。≠也
3 再，又：锻炼身体，～要注意休息。——可以换成“也”
4 尚，勉强过得去：身体～好。≠也
5 尚且：他～搬不动，何况我呢？≠也
