पहला संदेश
हैलो, मेरा नाम येगोर है और मैं हिन्दी पढ़ रहा हूँ। इस तरह की वेबसाइट पर मेरा पाँच साल से अधिक समय से कोई प्रोफ़ाइल नहीं है। हालाँकि, मैंने सोचा है कि शायद यह एक और कोशिश के काबिल है। मेरी उम्र 35 साल है और मैं यह भाषा सीख रहा हूँ क्योंकि मुझे भारतीय शास्त्रीय संगीत पसँद है। मुझे उम्मीद है कि एक दिन मैं शास्त्रीय गीतों में अक्सर इस्तेमाल होने वाली हिंदी के पूर्ववर्तियों को भी समझ पाऊंगा। मैं हिंदी में पढ़ सकता हूँ लेकिन बहुत ज्यादा नहीं बोल सकता। लिखना भी बहुत कठिन है। मुझे आशा है कि आप इस संदेश को पढ़ सकते हैं और समझ सकते हैं कि मेरा क्या मतलब है।

Your Hindi is really good. Grammatically I don't have any suggestions, it's mainly usage/stylistic. I would also use some words in place of other words but that's a matter of preference so I didn't 'correct' those instances. Really great job!
(Unfortunately I am not learning any of the languages you are offering but I would be happy to keep correcting your texts :))

पूर्ववर्तियों as in 'predecessors' - Braj Bhasha, Awadhi & co., they are widely used in classical and semi-classical songs, which I find very hard to understand even while having the written lyrics in front of my eyes for this very purpose. I was wondering which word I could use here...

Ah I see. Interesting that you call them predecessors. I think they're typically referred to as dialects (now I'm not a big fan of the language-dialect distinction myself but that's a separate matter). In this case your sentence makes sense.

Wat leuk hoor! Nou ja, ik spreek zelf geen Duits, en ik kan het ook niet verstaan, maar ik zal het je zeker laten weten als ik Duits wil leren ;)

Je bedoelt zeker 'Nun, ja, ich spreche selbst kein Deutsch, und ich kann es auch nicht verstehen' - dat is echter niet waar! je hebt deze zin begrepen! en ik heb 4 jaar thuis Hindi geleerd, plus de laatste 9 maanden op de universiteit, en mijn Hindi is eigenlijk vreselijk, ik ben gewoon relatief goed in het begrijpen van deze taal en weet hoe ik Google Translate en woordenboeken moet gebruiken!

Ah I see. Interesting that you call them predecessors. I think they're typically referred to as dialects (now I'm not a big fan of the language-dialect distinction myself but that's a separate matter). In this case your sentence makes sense.
They sound more like separate (even if closely related) languages to me - the ones which had already reached their peak as literary languages once, and were later reduced to simple dialects. If there is a separate literature corpus and a separate piece of history in time and space, then there is a language, as far as I am concerned, even if it is very similar to other dialects in the the continuum of dialects.
