मेरी किताब कल आई। वह छोटी कहानियाँ की समझने में आसान है। मैं एक कहानी पिछली रात पढिया थी। तब मैंने मेरी बॉयफ्रेंड की बात सुननी को किताब पढ़ना। कहानी एक हठी बन्दर के बारे में थी और कुछ कारीगर। मैंने सीखा की कैसे "आ जाना" का इस्तेमाल करता है। मैं खुश था की मैंने बहुत सारे शब्दों को समझा।

मुझे मेरी किताब कल मिली थी - this is less vague than what you've written. This means you received the book yesterday.
उसकी छोटी कहानियाँ - it's smaller stories.
"तब मैंने मेरी बॉयफ्रेंड की बात सुननी को किताब पढ़ना" I'm not quite sure what this sentence means. But I'm assuming you want to say "then I listened to by boyfriend and read the book".
Just a little writing tip, the word "ki" is always written as "कि" with an exception for showing possession। For example: वॉशिंगटण डी.सी. अमेरिका की राजधानी है। (Washington DC is the captain of USA)

I was attempting to say that I listened to my boyfriend read the book (reading to me). He was trying to explain to me last night there is सुना (to listen) and सुनना (to make someone listen?)
Unfortunately I didn't listen to him tell me how to use that verb LOL

Oh. The word for making someone listen is "सुनाना". So, the translation for "My boyfriend read out the book for me" is "मेरे बॉयफ्रेंड ने मुझे किताब पढ़के सुनाई" :)
