I read that foreign media says it's a wonder that the approval rating for Abe's administration is decreasing even though the number of victims from the coronavirus in Japan is much less than those of other countries.
About the reason why the coronavirus is calming down, many workers around me think it's just a hot temperature and our citizen's endeavor, not the measures by the government. Many of workers didn't go outside even though the government didn't do anything because we didn't want to lose our companies. It's getting hot and humid in Japan as summer is approaching. That climate also helps us.
We think Tiwanese and South Korean governments are awesome.
As for South Korea, it is north of Japan so I think it was much harder to deal with the coronavirus problems. The same applies to European contries and New York. South Asian coutries like Thai and Vietnam the number of victims from the coronavirus is far much less than other countries even though they had a pandemic once.

The Tokyo Governor said on TV "what if the second wave came." I spontaneously said "What a stupid woman." It seemed she really doesn't think over about the measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus but the election. And, the state of emergency was lifted. Yes, Mr. Abe and Ms. Koike, we believe you have a wonderful measure when the second wave comes aroud.
Otherwise, I think Abe will have to take responsibilities for many problems including his wife's problems. We call Mrs. Abe "Worst Lady", not "First Lady".
