Please tell me how to translate “时光未老
难说再见
致2020“
In English?
This is my translation:
Time is still young and it’s hard to say goodbye.
To 2020.
I want to translate it poetically. Can anyone help me?

Please tell me how to translate into English:¶
时光未老

See below with respect to "into English."

For quotes from poetry that span multiple lines or longer quotes from prose, it's typical to instead set it off as a block quote, instead of an in-line quote with quotation marks.

"Please tell me how…" suggests the imperative (giving an order or suggestion). It's possible for it to be used to ask a question, but it's a bit informal, and like I mention below, it doesn't seem elegant in written form to place a question mark after a multi-line (or multi-sentence) quote.

致2020

Into English?

This is fine verbally, but written I would move "into English" to right after "translate," to avoid having a sentence split by a large quote in the middle of it.

This is my translation:

Time is still young and it’s hard to say goodbye.

To 2020.

I want to translate it poetically.

Can anyone help me?

Feedback

My attempt at translating would be:

The night is young; it's hard to say goodbye
Here's to 2020!

Can't think of anything better at the moment, but then again I'm a terrible poet. Have a great 2021, Jack!

Night means 夜晚, 晚上. Its meaning is very different from the word 时光. I am afraid that it may not be a proper word to use. But thank you for joining.

Well yes, but with the translation of more literary phrases I believe it is acceptable to be more flexible. Just personal preference, I suppose.
