This Week is Over
Today is Friday and the next two days are holidays. However, I'm bummed out because I have to write a report on an experiment. It's hard work and spends a lot of time. Also, I have to write the report a week. My holidays may be gone during this semester.

Instead of saying “the report” (it can sound repetitive) you can just use “it” and sound more natural.

Nice job! I wanted to point out: you could say something like “it’s Friday and the weekend is coming up” since we usually refer to Saturday and Sunday together as “the weekend”. What you said is totally correct, but here’s a little tip to sound more natural.
