The Olympic Games

When I was a child, my family were very interested in watching the Olympic Games. Because there was only one TV in my house, I had to join them sometimes. They watched a lot of games, such as ping-pong, diving, gymnastics etc.
At that time, my family were always proud of the Chinese athletes, especially when they won medals. And they wers also proud of themselves to be Chinese. It seemed like they won the medal or they contributed to the medal. I didn't think so, and it seemed a little confusing to me.
I remember deeply the night which Beijing had been confirmed to hold the 2008 Olympic Games. My parents were as orgastic as the spectators on the TV, and they wanted to celebrate the exciting moment. I was peaceful at first. But I thought I should be exciting as well, because it was an unforgetable of my nation and when everybody was exciting, it was quite weird that you didn't. So, I became happy and joined the celebration.
I did love watching the Olympic Games. I thought most of them were amazing and unbelievable for human beings. But I hate the atmasphere that you must merely support your own national athletes. We should enjoy and focus on the games rather than something abstract and unimportant.
It have been for nearly a decade since I stopped watching the Olympics. I also seldom concerned about it. And I can't hardly remember what I had watched before.

Corrections

And they werse also proud of themselves to be Chinese themselves.

It seemed likewas as if they had won the medal or they contributed to ithe medal.

Your sentence is also OK! This was just a bit more natural in my mind.

I remember deepclearly the night whichen Beijing had beenwas confirmed to hold the 2008 Olympic Games.

My parents were as orgenthusiastic as the spectators on the TV, and they wanted to celebrate the exciting moment.

But I thought I should be excitinged as well, because it was an unforgettable ofmoment for my nation and when everybody waelse is excitinged, it wais quite weird thatwhen you didaren't.

I thought most of them athletes were amazing and unbelievable for human beings.

Just an edit for clarity, your original is OK too.

But I hate the atmaosphere that you must merexclusively support your own national athletes.

I think "exclusively" might be closer to your intention than "merely" based on your tone, but I may be wrong.

It haves been for nearly a decade since I stopped watching the Olympics.

I'm also seldom concerned about it.

You can also say "I'm also seldom interested in it."

And I can't hardly remember what I had watched before.

Feedback

I also don't watch the Olympics much anymore, and feel the same way you do in regard to the pressure to blindly support the national team. At its best, the Olympics (or rather, its athletes?) shows values like perseverance, courage, discipline, and cooperation. But at its worst, it seems to be about bigotry and greed.

No, you are right.
