The diary of an idiot
I began to read a short story called "Flowers for Algernon". I'm at its beginning, as you can image, and for now it seems to be an idiot's diary. To be more precise, the diary isn't a personal one, instead it's intended to be read by a doctor as report; and the man is an idiot as long as he describe himself as an adult with learning difficulties. The later is made evident by the way the idiot write. He commits no few spelling mistakes, he writes English as English sounds for him. I loved that. At first, it can be a little challenging for a non-native speaker, as myself, but while being read it becomes increasingly easier. Sometimes the incorrect spelling makes more sense to me than the correct one.
