Studying during the Pandemic
It's been a difficult times from March 2020. In my opinion, I think this year is a signal to stop doing things in the same way that we were doing in the past, and try to change our perspective on how how we do certain things and how we related to other people.
It's weird see your friends and classmates just throughout a screen and talking with them, it's like living in a virtual reality, but for me it's fine ... to be honest, I think I'm getting used to this pretty well.
Currently I'm working in a university project related to Integrated Water Resource Managament (IWRM) and it's been so interesting learning about the water cycle. To do this, it is necessary to manage a statistic software called "R" which is used to process hydrologic information and it's possible doing statistics analysis of precipitation, discharges and temperatures.
Learn programming has kept me pretty busy, so I get my mind concentrated in this, avoiding stress with the lockdown.
I hope that in the next months, I can go to my uni to study, talk with my classmates and share my thoughts about this period of our lives.
Han sido tiempos difíciles desde Marzo de 2020. En mi opinión, creo que este año es una señal de dejar de hacer las cosas de la misma manera como las hacíamos en el pasado, e intentar cambiar nuestra perspectiva sobre cómo hacemos las cosas y como nos relacionamos con otros.
Es extraño ver a mis amigos y compañeros sólo a través de una pantalla y hablar con ellos, es como estar viviendo en una realidad virtual, pero para mí está bien ... para ser honesto, creo que me estoy acostumbrando bastante bien a esto.
Actualmente estoy trabajando en un proyecto relacionado con el manejo integrado de recursos hídricos (IWRM), y ha sido muy interesante aprender sobre el ciclo del agua. Para esto, es necesario manejar un software estadístico que se llama "R" con el cual se puede procesar información hidrológica y es posible hacer análisis estádistico de precipitaciones, caudales y temperaturas.
Aprender a programar me ha tenido bastante ocupado, por lo que tengo la mente concentrada en esto y así he evitado estresarme con el encierro.
Espero que en los próximos meses, pueda ir a la universidad a estudiar, hablar con mis compañeros y compartir mis pensamientos sobre este período de nuestras vidas.
