In my city, there are many sharing bikes on the streets and they are very convenient for citizens. The green ones in the picture are Qingju electric bikes and they are operated by a company in Hangzhou. Their starting price is one yuan, and one yuan is enough for ordinary riding. However, I prefer to ride a non-electric one of Hello sharing bikes, because I think riding it can exercise my body. You can see from the picture that all the bikes are all placed in order. They look very tidy. You know why? Because my city has just been rated as a civilized city, our city appearance is well managed.

"Sharing bikes" isn't wrong grammatically, but it sounds a bit weird. We'd refer to these sort of public bikes as "city bikes".

colons are very rarely used in, and in this case the comma better indicates that the second half of the sentence logically follows from the first.

The original sentence sounds a little funny though, because it's unclear what the relationship is between city appearance and being a civilized city.

I interpreted "Because my city has just been rated as a civilized city" as being a response to "You know why?", and so when I first read the sentence, I interpreted "Because [...]" and "our city [...]" as being two separate phrases and could be connected by either an "and" or a semicolon. Perhaps I was wrong in my interpretation.

Btw, this is a semicolon and not a colon, so if you're going to correct someone else, you should use the correct terminology. Semicolons are rare but are used to connect two independent phrases that are thematically or logically connected to each other.
