I have never bought a decorated apartment, so I don't know exactly how they are decorated, but. Whenever we use a : we use it to list objects. The format is A, B, C, and D. So make sure your sentences follow that format when you use a colon (:). Do not try to be creative.

Also remember to try to always place the NOUN (ex the developers, or the apartment) near the front of the sentence.

There is a saying in Chinese about finely decorated houses: "拎包入住",." It meanings you can live in the house and only need to bring a bag.

Don't be afraid to chop your sentences up into 2 shorter sentences, otherwise you will often get run-on sentences.
