> Shōchū (Japanese: 焼酎) is a Japanese distilled beverage.
--- from Wikipedia
I avoid drinking Shōchū for over ten years.
That's because I felt that drinking Shōchū made me badly hungover with a terrible headache the next day.
I'm not such a heavy drinker, so I drink light alcohol, such as Cassis Orange or Rum-and-Coke, a couple of times a month.
And I drink sake(Nihon-shu) as well, but I don't drink Shōchū.
About sake, drinking too much doesn't make me sick of the hangover so much.
But, in the case of Shōchū, I have terrible memories of drinking it.
So, I won't drink Shōchū again, I think.
