Home-cooked Meal

Today, my friend made me lunch, and eat with him and another friend of mine. I like eating dishes cooked by my friends because I think the dishes reflect their character. On the other hand, I like making dishes for my friends too. It's my pleasure that they tell me it's delicious, and it's more rewarding to cook for others than to cook for myself.

Home-cooked Meal

Today, my friend made me lunch, and eaI ate it with him and another friend of mine.

This sentence is a bit unusual. I think you'd usually assume that if someone "made you lunch", then you'd eat it together. So it's perhaps more likely you'd say something like "Today I joined two friends of mine when one of them made lunch for us."

But the main thing is that "and eat with him" is not good grammar here.

I like eating dishes cooked by my friends because I think the dishes reflect their character.

On the other hand, I like making dishes for my friends too.

"On the other hand" is slightly out of place here. It's not wrong but "I like eating food my friends cook" and "I like cooking food for my friends" aren't really contradictory enough to justify it. You can like both and you don't need to weigh them against each other - they can both fit in the same hand :)

It's mya pleasure thatwhen they tell me it's delicious, and it's more rewarding to cook for others than to cook for myself.

"It's my pleasure" is a set phrase that you say when someone thanks you for doing something. "Thanks for cooking me lunch" "Oh, it's my pleasure." - there's no need to thank me, I enjoyed doing it!

So you wouldn't say it here. But "it's a pleasure" works.

Feedback

I'm charmed by the idea that your friends' dishes reflect their characters!
