when theDuring times of change comes in my life, I often choose to listen and follow others' advice more than myselfd to rely on the advice of others more than my own instincts.

I used to thbelieve that followinkg thate advice of others was the right path waschoice because they wish me well and they know the world better than me, But now I realize this thought might be wrong because their advice may be right at their age but will not be for todayhave good intentions and more life experience. However, I have come to realize that their guidance may not be relevant to today's world.

tThe world changes all the time and the thing that you are good at and not hate will return value to you in some way finallyis constantly evolving, but if you excel in something you enjoy, it will eventually bring value to your life.

Is following others' advice better than following my inner-self ?

You could also use “enjoy” instead of “do not hate”. Instead of “finally,” you could also use “in the future.”
