Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind is My Favorite Movie

Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind is my favorite movie - and here's why.

The movie makes a great job in representing relationships and emotions. Emotions aren't just files that we store in our minds, but experiences that change us. Relationships can be complex and confusing at times. Hell, just existing can be hard at times.

Memories aren't just files that are stored in our brains, but experiences that change us. If we remove a memory from our brain, we change who we are.

To really engage in a relationship one must be prone to be hurt. As Schopenhauer has stated in his Hedgehog's Dilemma, it's very cold and a group of hedgehogs is trying to warm themselves, so they try to get closer, but when they get too close they end up hurting each other. The hedgehogs should find the ideal distance between themselves, where they won't hurt themselves or freeze to death. Relationships are similar. There's a fine balance that must be kept to it work.

I've been passionate about this movie for quite a while now, and I think it is because it is so darn good in representing relationships.

Thank you for reading. You're incredible. Have a nice day.

According to the Hedgehog's Dilemma (by Schopenhauer):
It's a very cold day of the winter and a group of hedgehogs is trying to warm themselves. They try to get closer, but when they get too close they end up hurting each other. The hedgehogs should find the ideal distance between themselves, where they won't hurt themselves or freeze to death. Relationships are similar. In English, em dashes (—) are "strong" pauses. We often use them for subordinate clauses.

The movie makdoes a great job in representing relationships and emotions.

Emotions aren't just files that we store in our minds, but experiences that change us.

We tend to use commas for separating parts that would be complete sentences on their own. You could say, "Emotions aren't just files that we store in our minds, but emotions come from experiences that change who we are."

Relationships can be complex and confusing at times.

Hell, just existing can be hard at times.

Memories aren't just files that are stored in our brains, but experiences that change us.

This can sound redundant because of the sentence above. It might be a good idea to think of another way to describe memories.

To really engage in a relationship on, we must be prone to be hurtvulnerable.

Saying "one" works, but "we" sounds more persuasive!

As Schopenhauer has stateddescribed something like this in his Hedgehog's Dilemma,: it's very cold and a group of hedgehogs is trying to warm themselves, so t. They try to get closer, but when they get too close, they end up hurting each other.

The hedgehogs should find the ideal distance between themselves, where they won't hurt themselves or freeze to death.

This was easy to understand. Good job! (I watched this movie shortly after a relationship ended. That was a mistake!)
