Day Ten

Through the window in my room, I can see an intersection and a courthouse behind it. I sometimes hear the sound of a car horn because the traffic is a little busy in the daytime. Besides, there is a fire department next to the court, so I occasionally hear the sound of a siren. At first, when I came here, I thought it's noisy but now I don't care; I get used to them. Also, there is a mountain far away, and I can see a radio tower on top of it. The tower is illuminated colorfully during nighttime.

Day Ten

Through the window in my room, I can see an intersection and a courthouse behind it.

I sometimes hear the sound of a car horn because the traffic is a little busy in the daytime.

BesidesAdditionally, there is a fire department next to the court, so I occasionally hear the sound of a siren.

"Besides" is only used for points that are additional, but not very important. Seeing as the siren sounds are a part of your overall story, it is too important to use besides with.

Examples:
I think the main reason I want a dog is that they are cute. Besides, I can easily afford it.
I can see cats in my neighbourhood anyways, so why do I need to own one. Besides, I don't like cat fur in my house

So besides should only be used for information that you want to add, but removing it would not be a problem.

At first, when I came here, I thought it's noisy but now I don't care; I geot used to ithem.

Also, there is a mountain far away, and I can see a radio tower on top of it.

The tower is illuminated colorfully during nighttime.
