I have followed some of the projects of your research group. I am greatly interested in your research on the development of new synthetic probes. Although I was trained as a synthesis chemist, I always wanted to work in the chemical biology field, at the chemistry-biology interface. Using chemical tools to probe biological problems and understand processes within cells and living organisms, chemical biology has a significant bearing on drug discovery and biomedical research. I have found these features in your research. Your research in the development of biological probes is brilliant, indeed.
