Confusing Words

I knew two words at the same time: exalt and exult. However, they have a similar meaning and their spellings are almost the same. I can't remember them correctly still now. Do you have any idea to remember them?

Feedback

While they are similarly spelled, they actually have quite different meanings. To exalt is to revere or praise, and is actually quite similar to another 'ex-' word, extol. Exult, however, is to do with joy and celebration and happiness. I didn't actually remember what exult meant specifically, and had to look it up, but I think exalt is more common, relatively speaking, so if you want you can try to just remember that one. Otherwise, maybe because the 'u' in exult is like a little smile? Haha

I'll try to remember "exalt" first, and I like your tip that "u" is like a smile :)
Thank you so much!
