Cicadas
Cicadas are one of the symbols for Japanese summer. Today, I felt summer had arrived when I heard a chirp of a cicada. There are several types of cicadas in Japan. The most popular one is the brown cicada, and they noisily chirp during the daytime. Another one is the evening cicada; they chirp in the evening as their name show.
