How many kanjis do I know?

I'm not sure how many kanji I know because it's too many to count on my own. And, the number of kanjis you can read and of you can write is different. ( Kanjis I can read is more than ones I can write. )
Many kanjis you can read, much more comfortable you can read Japanese sentences. ( Japanese sentences using only hiragana are often hard to get its meaning. )
How I should write some kanji in handwriting would slip my mind sometimes, but I could remember its shape. So, even in that case, I think I could pick from suggestions by software keyboards of my smartphone.
漢字は多すぎるので、自分が何個知っているのか分かりません。 読める漢字と書ける漢字の数は、違います。 (私が読める漢字は、書ける漢字よりも多いです。 )
たくさんの漢字が読めるようになったら、日本語の文章が読みやすくなりますね。 (ひらがなだけでは、意味が分かりにくいことも多いですから。 )
漢字を手書きでどう書けばいいのかは、時々忘れてしまいますが、それでも形は覚えていると思います。 だからスマホなど、ソフトキーボードのサジェストの中からだったら、（例え書き方を忘れていても）選ぶことができると思います。

The plural form of kanji can be either kanji or kanjis, but I think kanji is the preferred plural form, at least around where I live.
And, the number of kanjiskanji that you can read and ofthat you can write is different.

Overall feedback
Overall, very understandable piece of writing. I think there are some awkward sentences grammar wise, but you are still able to clearly express your ideas. I have also thought about this problem. It seems like recently due to smartphones, younger people are gradually forgetting how to write kanji, which might mean future Japanese (and Chinese) writers rely on technology more and more. I wonder how that will affect each language.
