Cake
Open to any feedback
I went to eat cake after work today. I wanted to eat Sachertorte (chocolate cake), but it was sold out. I ordered a "half and half cake set" that you can choose two half slices of cake and a drink coming with a small cup of soft serve ice cream. The ice cream was good, but the cakes were unfortunately ok. They weren't as good as I expected. I was eating and looking up information about two hotels that I had booked for my summer vacation to cancel one of them. I like spending time like this!

"ok" by itself has a positive connotation by default. If you wanted to point out that you wanted to the cakes to be better than "ok", then "unfortunately just ok" is better as it makes it clear you expected better.
Thank you for your corrections!

Just saying "unfortunately ok" makes it sound like you wished they weren't okay and were bad instead. To make it clear that it was unfortunate because you wanted them to be more than okay, adding "just" is essential. As a side note, both "ok" and "okay" are fine, but my feeling is that "ok" is the more casual of the two, just so you're aware.
As I was eating and, I was looking up information about two hotels that I had booked for my summer vacation toso that I could cancel one of them.
What you wrote is grammatically correct, but it sounded a bit unnatural.
Thank you for your corrections!
