All about working hours data.
Open to any feedback
This is my journal of all the things that I learn every day. Yesterday I read about how the studies recollect data to make good investigations concerning measured working hours, in this point we focus in the surveys. The surveys often are the best way to have excellent information. Almost the majority of the time the survey classify in three types: labor force surveys, establishment surveys, and time use surveys. In my opinion the best surveys are the labor force surveys, provides a huge amount information, I rather this type of survey than others because collect data of employments status. But this surveys only cover residents above certain age in the majority of the countries. Establishment surveys collect data on employment and working hours as reported by employers, giving granularity information on working hours, so we rely on this types of surveys. To finalize I want to said that is necessary for future studies have available information about this topics, if we have more data the gaps will be reduce, However I want to motivate everyone to still researching of this topic, nonetheless never stop off we even work more hard.
All about working hours data.
No change suggested
Alternatively you could say "All about data on working hours" to clarify the meaning because I was confused for a little bit initially.
Yesterday I read about how the studies recollectcollect data to make good investigations concerning measured working hours, in. In this point we will focus inon the surveys.
I think "the studies" would be used more so if you were trying to talk about a specific group of studies, instead of the idea of studies as a whole. "Recollect" is used more with remembering things. "Make good investigations concerning measured working hours" doesn't really sound right, although I'm not entirely sure how you could improve it except for changing it to say "collect data to investigate working hours". But in this case the meanings feel slightly different. "Point" also doesn't really sound like the best word. You could say "text" instead. You would say that you focus on something, not in something. Saying "focus" without another verb in front feels kind of weird. Usually would would say something like "we are focusing", "we will focus" or "we are going to focus". The only situation where it would sound right to not have another verb is in the past tense, where you would say "we focused".
The surveysSurveys often are the best way to have excellentgather good information.
"The surveys" would be used if you were analysing a specific collection of surveys. It sounded a little weird saying "to have excellent information".
Almost the majorityMajority/Most/A lot of the time the survey classify, surveys are classified in three typesways: labor force surveys, establishment surveys, and time use surveys.
I suggested another two words/phrases that you could use instead of "majority". You wouldn't really say "almost" before one of those words. The closest idea I can think of is saying "nearly/almost all the time", in which case you could also choose to say what I've suggested above. "Classify" would be used if you were talking about the surveys classifying something, which would likely be information. You would typically use "ways" instead of "types" with surveys. You could also say "There are usually three types of surveys: labor force surveys, establishment surveys, and time use surveys."
In my opinion the best surveys are the labor force surveys, providesas they provide a huge amount information,. I ratherprefer this type of survey thanover others because they collect data of employmentson employment status.
Personally, I prefer using "prefer" over "rather". "Provides a huge amount of information" feels like something you might right in a dot point, or with "it" in front. Since you're talking about a plural ("surveys"), you would say "they provide...". In order to make the two flow together in the same sentence, I chose "as" but you could also use "because".
But thisthese surveys only cover residents above a certain age in the majority of themost countries.
"Surveys" is plural, so you would use "these". "This" would be used with a singular noun, like "this survey" or "this type of survey". You would typically need "a" or "an" when talking about ages in this context. "In most countries" sounds more natural than "in the majority of the countries".
Establishment surveys collect data on employment and working hours as reported by employers, giving granularitygranular information on working hours, so we rely on thisthese types of surveys.
"Granularity" is a noun, but since you have a noun immediately afterwards ("information"), you would need to use an adjective ("granular"). You could also say "this type of survey".
To finalize I want to saidsay that it is necessary for future studies to have available information about thison these topics, if. If we have more data, the gaps will be reduce, reduced. However I want to motivate everyone to stillcontinue researching of this topic, nonethelessand to never stop off we even work moreworking hard.
"Said" is used in the past tense. You would need a subject before "is necessary", so "it" would be the best choice here. You could also say "Having available information on these topics is necessary for future studies", but this is a bit more of a complex sentence. "Reduce" in that exact form would not be used after "will be". "Continue researching" is a lot more natural than "still research". You don't need to use "of" after "research" when it's used as a verb ("researching" in this case). You could say "conduct research on..." though. The last part sounded really unnatural, so I think "and to never stop working hard" expresses the same idea but with slightly better wording.
