Live-Streaming Sales
Open to any feedback
In China, live-streaming sales are very popular online. The streamers sell a variety of items, including food, apparel, toys, and more. There are only things you couldn't imagine; nothing they don't sell.
I was browsing a shopping app earlier today, and I went into a live streaming room. The streamer was a woman, selling men's shirts. Naturally, I left a comment: Why do you have a female streamer try on men's clothes? Don't you sell men's clothing? I asked so simply because I thought this woman was too slim, and those clothes didn't fit her very well.
They replied: What's wrong with a female streamer putting on male clothes? Are you sexist or what?
Of course, they have a point. Women can do anything a man can do nowadays. But I didn't bring my question through this perspective. Think of it: how much do you like it when you want to purchase a blouse, and see pictures of male models—perhaps a burly one? Or, want to buy some lipsticks, and find mock-ups with male models?
Maybe for some reason, there aren't so many male streamers in the apparel-selling industry. They don't necessarily hinge my question on male chauvinism, though.

"There are only things you couldn't imagine" Is a little redundant, given the context
The streamer was a woman, but she was selling men's shirts.
Naturally, I left a comment: "Why do you have a female streamer trytrying on men's clothes?
Don't you sell men'sfemale clothing too?"
I'm not sure if this was a mistake, if not, just ignore the correction :)

But I didn't bringhadn't brought my question through this perspective.
Think of it: how much do you like it when you want to purchase a blouse, andexpecting to see pictures of malefemale models—perhaps, but instead a big, burly oneman is modelling instead?
Or, want to buypurchase some lipstickslipstick, and find mock-ups withcatalogues full of male models?
"catalogues" is more for browsing, an alternative: Similarly, imagine the shock of seeing lipsticks modelled purely by men?
Maybe forFor some reason, there aren't so many male streamers in the apparel-selling industry.
They don'tThey're not necessarily hingeinterpreting my question onto be about male chauvinism, though.
"male chauvinism" is quite an uncommon phrase (at least where I am in Australia)

A little follow-up question: "expecting to see female models, but instead a big, burly man is modelling instead?" Why are there two "instead"? Are they the same meaning?

Oops my bad, that was a mistake. It's meant to be "expecting to see female models, but a big, burly man is modelling instead". The sentence I wrote before is grammatically incorrect!
Live-Streaming Sales Streamers and their Sponsors
we call those "sponsors" if its someone elses product if its their own product (like the streamer's own personalized items), its merch
In China, live-streaming sales are streamers selling products from sponsors is a very popular onlineway of making money.
this is called "affilate marketing" its also common in the american capitalist system
There are only things you couldn't imagine; nothing they don't sell pretty much anything.

they can't pee like us though
But I didn't bring my question through thishadn't thought from her perspective.
Think ofabout it: how much do you like, wouldn't it when you want to purchasebe interesting buying a blouse, and see pictures ofthe photos show male models wearing them —perhaps a burly one?
Or, lets say you want to buy some lipsticks, lipstick and you happen to find mock-ups with male models as well?
Please be careful with plurals, this is what trips up Chinese people too. One of my old Chinese friends said "ketchups" instead of "ketchup". Not all words in English have a plural. Or you need to put a "classifier" type thing to make it work "a jar of honey"
Maybe for some reason, there aren't soThere's probably not that many male streamers in the apparelfashion-selling industry for some odd reason.
remember, whatever sounds cleaner works better
They don't necessarily hinge my question on male chauvinism, though.

Thank you for your patience and detailed explanations, as always. I know it's not a good habit that I don't put my Chinese text here. That may cause you to misunderstand what I'm saying. And I noticed that sometimes you could be creative and change my sentence to fit your thought, which I don't mind. (Others might, tho.) "even sex toys?" -Yes, adult toys can be included. I failed to see why it should be any different. "Not all words in English have a plural." -I thought the word "lipstick" had a plural, don't you say "two lipsticks"? At least I heard of it. "They don't necessarily hinge my question on male chauvinism, though." “这些人不用非得把我的提问联系成大男子主义就是了。”
There are onlyeven things you couldn't imagine; there is nothing they don't sell.
They don'tThat doesn't necessarily hinge my question on male chauvinism, though.
