Mein Garten
Früher in diesem monat habe ich in den Garten gegangen. Ich habe viele Gemüse in meinem Garten gepfanzt. Tomaten, Paprika, Erdbeeren, Mais, Sonnenblumen, Wassermelone, und Kürbisse.
Diese Woche habe ich wieder in den Garten gegangen. Alle Kürbisse sind gesprossen. Jeder hat zwei runde Blätter. Der erste Mais ist auch gesprossen. Er hat einen kleinen grünen Stängel.
Mein Garten geht gut.
Earlier this month I went to the garden. I have planted many vegetables in my garden. Tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, corn, sunflowers, watermelon, and pumpkins.
This week I went to the garden again. All the pumpkins have sprouted. They all have 2 round leaves. The first corn seed has also sprouted. It has a small green stem.
My garden is doing well.

There is no exact equivalent to the phrase "earlier this month" in German. The correction I made "Anfang diesen Monats" means "early this month," which is similar but not quite the same. There are also equivalent phrases for the middle ("Mitte des Monats") and the end ("Ende des Monats") of the month.
