One of storylines that I am afraid of the most finally has come to pass. There are two intruders standing out of doors, pounding at doors. Out of self-defense, I would like to take the offensive before they start attacking me. It seems as if they are trying to break in.

You wanted "outdoors", but it sounds a bit strange here. Can't explain why.
