¡Regalos!

Gifts!

When you give a gift to a family member or a friend in my country, you must remove the price tag first.
If you left it on your gift, this will be considered a shameful thing to do. As if you wanted to say how much their gift cost you.

If they asked you about the gift cost and insisted to know, you can tell them, that would be fine : )

Do you have the same custom in your country?

Si te preguntó/ preguntaría?an

(should I use condicional here?) sSobre el costo del regalo e insistió/ insistiría?en en... ¶

it's not necessary, in fact you should use the "subjuntivo imperfecto", but you can also use that tense I put before and I don't know the name jaja, but here's an example.

You can change between these two ways to say it.

And the other way that I put.

Si te preguntaran -> normal
Si te preguntan -> normal (for me)

...saber, entonces puedes decirles, eso estaría bien : )

Feedback

I really didn't know these information before! Thank you very much : ) I'm going to study this comment of yours because it's very interesting that we use el subjuntivo in this case!
Oh and the tense you used before is a present tense I believe :D

It's so nice to know that we have the same custom :D jaja
Actually you also have a point! Let's say I bought something expensive for mom and my sister knew because she was with me when I bought it, I would ask her not tell mom how much it cost so that mom wouldn't worry that I spent all my money on it. You know moms ;) hehe

Thank you very much for your explanations and comments, they are always very fun and interesting to read :))
