Usually, I think people are honest because that is just how I think, positive. And there is also a reason why I think positively about others. It's because people are prone to laugh more, and think you are more compatible with them or more fun to hang around. They'll think you won't think bad and talk behind their back.
Let's consider the opposite side of the coin if you think negatively about a person but it's not true. They will oftentimes get really angry, or just straight up think you are not the fun person to hang around.
Of course, this is all my speculation :))

In the last sentence of the first paragraph, I use 'think bad' instead of 'think badly'. Since I want to make my article as informal as possible.

I always think that more bad grammar = more informality. Is this view true? What are your thought on this? :))

People arAre people honest or dishonest?
Are should go before people in a question

They'll think you won't think bad of them and talk behind their back.
Of them makes it more clear rather than just bad which sounds quite vague

They will oftentimesmostly get really angry, or just straight up think you are not the fun person to hang around.
Oftentimes seems to be an American expression so it may make sense there but for me a native speaker of British English I would probably word it like that but either would probably be fine

Very good accurate writing, I think it conveys a compelling message and flows quite well to me.
