How to Cut Tofu
The traditional way to cut tofu is to cut it on the palm using a knife. This is because tofu is too soft and it's difficult to move it after cutting on a chopping board, and the chopping board doesn't get dirty in this way. Knifes cut things when they're slid or strongly pressed, so there's no danger when you delicately cut tofu on your palm. However, I usually don't use this technique and use a chopping board.
