I usually go to an Indian restaurant to buy lunch. When I buy groceries in a supermarket, I pay cash. Thus, I get many coins when I pay in cash in supermarkets.
Three days ago, I went to the Indian restaurant to get some lunch. As my order got ready, I wanted to pay in coins, but the Indian man told me that he does not accept coins smaller than ten cents. Then, I explained to him that I get these coins in supermarkets and I have to give these to somebody. He said that this time he is going to take them, but next time he is not going to accept coins smaller than 10 cents.
When I picked up my food and went back home. On the way, I was thinking that this guy has created his own rules in Germany, and I was laughing about it.

Thus, I get many coins when I pay in cash in supermarkets.I get a lot of small change back when I do so.
I don't think you need to repeat everything (supermarkets, cash).

Good writing, very clear.
Getting lunch at an Indian restaurant!
I usually go to an Indian restaurant to buy lunch.
When I buy groceries in a supermarket, I pay with cash.
Your original sentence was not incorrect, however saying “I pay with cash” is a more complete statement.
Thus, I get many coins when I pay in cash in supermarkets.Due to this I get a lot of small change.

As my order got ready, I wanted to pay inwith my coins, but the Indian manI was told me that they does not accept coins smaller than ten cents.
It is not incorrect to mention your order being prepared, but it is not important to the rest of the sentence.

HeThey said that this time the is going to take them, but next time he is not going to accept coins smaller than 10 cents.y will accept them as a one off.
This is a more natural way to say this. “As a one off” lets the reader know that the next time they won’t accept the coins.
When I picked up I got my food and went back home.
On the way, I was thinking to myself that this guey hasve created histheir own rules in Germany, and I was laughing about it.that made me laugh

Very well done! Your writing made sense and was easy to read. The corrections I have made are to show an alternative/more natural way of saying things.
