Day 21: Habit Jar Part 2

In my last post I wrote that it was the day nineteen of my English challenge, but it was a mistake and was the day twenty actually.

Today I made a lot of stars of paper that I'm going to use as goal markers for my habit jar. I'm going to use my habit jar for building two habits, one of those is meditation. To recognize these habits easier, I made the stars of many colors. For meditation they are blue and green
and, when I meditate, I'm going to put into the jar a star of one of those colors.
I'm already thinking in another way to track my habits. I think that I could draw a tree on the wall of my room and stick onto it flowers or leaves of paper when I complete a habit.
Thanks for reading.

Day 21: Habit Jar Part 2

In my last post I wrote that it was the day nineteen of my English challenge, but it was a mistake and it was theactually day twenty actually.

- natural word order with actually (we typically put it before the statement of shock/correction/fact) “are you actually home?” “Do you actually need help?”

Today I made a lots of star-shaped pieces of paper that I'm going to use as goal markers for my habit jar.put into my habit jar as goal markers.

- the natural way we would say it
- “I made lots of” suites a colloquial tone “I made a lot of” is slightly more formal and less common !

I'm going to use my habitthe jar forto building two habits, one of those isbeing meditation.

More natural, another saying:
“I have two sisters, one of them being a doctor.”
- No need to repeat habit as you’ve already clarified, so I’ve shortened to jar, and added ‘the’. The definite article here makes it less personable which suites my recommendation.

To individually recognize these habits easier, I’ve made the stars to be of many different colors.

I believe this was what you were trying to say, let me know otherwise!!

For meditation, they are blue and green.

andSo, when I meditate, I'm only going to put into the jar a star of one of those colorsgreen or blue colours into the jar.

More natural phrasing and simpler way to express as a native would

I'm already thinking inof another way to track my habits.

“I’m thinking of you.” -> “Pensando en ti” I know in Spanish it is ‘en’, but in English we always use ‘of’

I’m think that I coulding of drawing a tree on the wall of my room and stick onto iting paper flowers or leaves of paper whennto it every time I complete a habit.

More natural, reflective and colloquial style

Thanks for reading.

Your English is very good! I understood what you were saying. There were just some small things that needed fixing. Keep it up!

In my last post, I wrote that it was the day nineteen of my English challenge, but it was a mistake and. It was theactually day twenty actually.

- you can say, day nineteen (nineteen is almost like the name of the day in this case) OR the nineteenth day
- you can put "actually" at the end, but then it seems more like an afterthought, like you finished your sentence, and then said "actually". It would be more typical to put it after "it was"
- if you're writing "and" more than once in a sentence, think about splitting it into two sentences

Today I made a lot of stars of paperpaper stars that I'm going to use as goal markers for my habit jar.

To recognize these habits easimake it easier to tell these habits apart from each other, I made the stars of many colors.

"from each other" is optional, as it can be inferred. You could also say "I made each habit correspond to a specific color to make it easier to tell them apart"

and, when I meditate, I'm going to put into the jar a star of one of those colors.

The sentence above isn't incorrect but is kind of strange, perhaps you could say: "and for each time I meditate, I will put one star of one of those colors into the jar." but you can just leave out "of one of those colors" because it's inferred, in my opinion.

I'm already thinking inof another way to track my habits.

I think that I could draw a tree on the wall of my room, and stick onto it flowers or leavesn it, ofr paper leaves when I complete a habit.
